Since I posted last, we went to our "first" birthday party at the local wave pool, her "first" time in a bathing suit! We also went to Galveston Beach for Memorial weekend. Her "first" vacation. Unfortunatly it was not her first time at the beach because it was too hot one day and too windy the next so we didn't bring her. She was not too crazy about sleeping in a pack-n-play (she is a little spoiled by her comfy crib at home) so we didn't get much sleep at night.

On another note, this time last year, I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant...what a difference a year makes!

Mother's Day

This was a weekend of "Firsts". It was my first Mother's Day and to celebrate, Jeb took us to an Astros game...so Kendal's first Professional Sporting event. (I was going to say first baseball game but she has been to 2 of Micah's games while I was on maternity leave.)

Our very good friends Ronda and Randall when with us. It was a blast!


ALSO...this weekend, Kendal got her ears pierced and received her first purse from Aunt Barbara (church aunt).

13 weeks

3 months old - She Rolled Over!!

Kendal was 3 months old on Saturday! I can't believe it. On her 3 month birthday, she rolled over for the first time! I had put her in my bed on her tummy for a few minutes while I did something in the bathroom. A few minutes later, I looked at her in the mirror and noticed she was on her back. I couldn't believe it. We put her on her tummy on a blanket on the floor to watch her do it again. She tried but then got frustrated and started crying. Later that evening, she took a nap in the living room on her tummy and when she started to wake up, we watched her roll right over!

We also tried to take some pictures of her in her cute Sunday dress but after about 3 pictures, she fell forward right onto the floor. The little chair is only 1 inch or so off the ground so it did not hurt her but scared us all to death!! You can see in the pictures below right before she fell over. I tried to run and catch her but it all happened so fast I couldn't get to her quick enough! Poor thing!!

"Blue Monday"

Well, Monday, I went back to work. Jeb called it "Blue Monday". I shed some tears!!! It was very hard!! But as you can tell from this picture, she did awesome. She has been great all week. She probably doesn't even notice I am not there during the day...breaks my heart to even think that. Kelly & "KK" kept her this week. In June, mom or should I say "Nanny" will be keeping her every day.
